Lily Carassik
Lily Carassik is a session trumpet player who divides her time between London, Manchester and Copenhagen. She has recorded for and played with artists such as Soul II Soul, Rita Ora, George Ezra, Brian May, Arlo Parks, Camila Cabello, Oscar Jerome, Gary Barlow, Gary Kemp, Braison Cyrus, The Magic Gang, Boy George, Becky Hill, McFly, Craig David, Anne-Marie, James Bay, Jamie Cullum, and in some of the biggest venues around the world- Wembley Stadium, The Pyramid Stage - Glastonbury, the O2 Arena and Buckingham Palace, to name a few.
She teaches Jazz Trumpet in the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, University of London.
She arranges music and writes and records her own music, which you can listen to here.
Lily wrote the song "What If" in February 2019 to raise awareness for mental health. It drew the attention of Sony and was released under their label, Sony Masterworks, in January 2020.
All the proceeds from downloads continue to go towards the UK based mental health charity, The Samaritans.
